Redland Family Farm

Redland Family Farm is the spot for family fun in Oregon City, including festive activities like writing Santa, free wagon rides, a petting zoo, and much more. If you get hungry during your tree-cutting adventure, grab a bite to eat from the cafe for breakfast or lunch. Saws, carpet squares for kneeling, and ample parking are provided to make cutting down your own tree a pleasant experience. Trees are available on just two days this year, December 7th and 8th, so plan accordingly!.

Furrow Farm

Furrow Farm advertises its “real trees for real people.” All tree varieties are $8 per foot, and they sure have a wide variety. Those include Noble Fir, Nordman Fir, Grand Fir, and Douglas Fir (which are only $6 per foot). They also sell other decorative items, including mistletoe, wreaths, garlands, and locally made candles.The kids will love the free tractor rides and petting zoo with farm animals.

Quail Creek Ranch

Sunny Day Tree Farm is set on 80 picturesque hilltop acres in Sherwood. You won’t find more majestic views of the Willamette Valley anywhere around.The owners’ goals is to make every single person feel comfortable and at home. They have a fantastic selection of Turkish and Nordmann Fir trees. All trees are the same price—$60. Sunny Day Farm does not use any spray or use pesticides or herbicides. In fact, they’re well-known for their natural trees. They also sell charming wreaths, log reindeer, and log snow people.

Loch Lolly Christmas Forest

Loch Lolly Christmas Forest is the home of high-quality plantation trees. Enjoy your time in the country and feel free to visit other parts of the farm besides the tree lots—a full 28 acres of trees. Loch Lolly’s holiday gift shop is also open each day. Santa sits in an antique sleigh where children can visit him. When it gets cold, you’ll enjoy the warming shelter with a fire, hot coffee, and cocoa. Come celebrate in this magical place. Hamburg 4D Tree Farm

Hamburg 4D Tree Farm is open for a limited two weekends—the weekend after Thanksgiving and the following one. They offer Noble Firs, Grand Firs, and Balsam Firs first up to seven feet tall. They have free chili, cider, and hot chocolate if you purchase a tree from them. Enjoy your warm food by the fire under the covered patio. Kids can also make an adorable keepsake ornament to take home. All trees are a flat $35.

Merrywood Tree Farm

Merrywood Tree Farm is a family-owned and -operated farm has three options: u-cut, pre-cut, or THEY will even cut the tree you want. Merrywood has a large range of sizes, from table toppers to 14’ tall. They have Nordmann Firs, Noble Firs, Douglas Firs, and Grand Firs, plus Sequoia and some other unusual species. They also have some lovely bundles of mixed greens and wreaths. The kids will love the free pony rides and hot cider, plus the farm museum, wood stove, and diorama. Merrywood is actually open the weekend before Thanksgiving, perfect for you early birds who just can’t wait to start your holiday decorating!

Snowline Tree Farm

The drive to Snowline Tree Farm is stunning and worth every minute. Even better, once you get there, you can become fully immersed in the tree experience because you get to learn how they’re grown on a tree farm. There are horses, cattle, and goats to pet, and you can even buy fresh farm eggs and produce. Take a hayride to the tree field and snack on the free cookies and cocoa. Kids can even make their own pinecone ornaments to take home, adults can build wreaths for a fee, and custom flocking for trees is available.
